About me
Ever since I was a little girl, I was captivated by the stories that filled my family gatherings—stories of my grandparents who lived close to a Reservation, of ancestors who were welcomed as trusted medical aides and learned the ancient, revered ways of the medicine men. I even heard that my grandpa earned a Ute nickname—a badge of honor that whispered of a deep, healing tradition. Those early tales ignited a spark in me; I knew from a very young age that I wanted to honor that legacy, even in the way I brought new life into the world.
My own health journey began with a simple, unassuming search: Why had I gained a little weight despite staying active? That innocent question opened a can of worms, plunging me into a world of schooling, books, and the fascinating concept of bioindividuality. I simply couldn’t get enough. But as life hurled its inevitable curveballs, my own health began to falter. I battled thyroid disorders, relentless fatigue, digestive and joint issues, brain fog, sleepless nights, multiple miscarriages, and that stubborn baby weight that wouldn’t budge no matter how “right” I did everything.
I craved guidance, but deep down, I knew that my primary care provider would just reassure me with, “You’re fine.” And sure enough, when I had my labs drawn by both my PCP and a naturopathic doctor, one set of results offered clear insights while the other simply claimed I was fine. I wasn’t. I was miserable—and I couldn’t continue living a life shrouded in confusion and discomfort.
That moment was a turning point for me. As I shifted from a conventional medical model to fully embrace the holistic field, I discovered something astounding: I was only a few courses away from being able to perform all the same lab tests my ND had used to uncover the truths about my health. It was a profound realization that propelled me to take that next, courageous step—to offer real, tangible solutions for those who were searching for more than just a temporary fix.
Today, my journey is the very foundation of the Delta-Change program. With a BS and MS in Holistic Nutrition, a BSN earned while working at a birth center, and over a decade of frontline experience in ER/Trauma medicine, I bring a rich tapestry of credentials and personal insight to my practice. I have seen firsthand where conventional approaches fall short and how an integrated method—one that fuses modern science with time-honored traditions—can transform lives.
I’m here to share that knowledge and to guide you on your own path to vibrant health. Together, we’ll dive deep into the root causes of your struggles, embracing both the latest research and the holistic wisdom passed down through generations. Let’s break free from the cycle of “just okay” and create a life that is as extraordinary as you deserve.
